This zinnia was full-grown in orbit as part of the Veggie ability aboard the Global Space Station. The Veggie team on Earth shaped what was called “The Zinnia Care Guide for the On-Orbit Grower,” and gave basic rules for care while putting judgment abilities into the hands of the cosmonaut who had the florae right in front of him.
