The Western Desert of Egypt, comprises priceless fossil leftovers of the initial, and now nonexistent, suborder of monsters, Archeocyte. These relics signify one of the chief floors of fruition: the appearance of the whale as an ocean-going being from a previous life as a land-based bodily. This is the most significant site in the world for the protest of this stage of development. It depicts vividly the form and life of these giants during their change. The number, attentiveness and excellence of such fossils here is sole, as is their convenience and setting in an good-looking and threatened landscape. The skeleton of a Basilosaurus ISIS, which is 50 feet long, could throw bright on why there are so numerous fossilized leftovers of whales and other antique sea faunae in Wadi Hiten and perhaps how the nonexistent animal spun.
